Astute Signs Wise

Astute Group, the Stevenage-based distributor, and Wise-integration, the French specialist in digital control of GaN and GaN ICs for power conversion, have signed a distribution agreement covering EMEA.

The WiseGan family of GaN power devices and WiseWare digital control software deliver significant performance advantages over silicon-based solutions, including superior efficiency, reduced footprint, and enhanced switching frequencies.

WiseGan includes GaN power integrated circuits designed for high-frequency operation in the MHz range, integrating features that streamline implementation with digital control. WiseWare is a 32-bit, MCU-based AC-DC digital controller optimised for GaN-based power-supply architectures.
